This medicine is available only with your doctor’s prescription in which the usual adult dose is 15 mg to 30 mg at approximately 2 hours after breakfast for appetite control. Management of one 30 mg capsule per day is adequate for depression of the appetite for 12 to 14 hours. Phentermine 30 mg is not recommended for use in 16 years of age and under because this drug may be habit-forming. Even, it is not recommended to take it late evening because of the possibility of resulting insomnia.
