It also contains 36.0 mg of oxycodone, 40 mg of oxycodone hydrochloride, polysorbate 80, and yellow iron oxide. If you are not an “opioid tolerant” then do not take more than 40 mg of Oxycontin in one dose because a single dose greater than 40 mg may cause fatal respiratory depression or may lead to severe psychological or physical dependence.
