Description

Opana ER 40 mg is a Schedule II controlled substance, with an abuse liability similar to other opioid analgesics that is indicated for the relief of moderate to severe pain in patients for an extended period. The form of Opana ER 40 mg is a yellow eight-sided tablet with the imprint “40” on one side which is supplied by Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc. It contains FD and C yellow No. 6, D and C yellow No. 10, and lactose monohydrate. It is recommended that a patient receiving Opana ER 40 mg per day may require 20 mg of Opana ER 40mg every 12 hours.
