Lortab 5-325 mg

Description

Lortab 5-325 mg is indicated for the treatment of moderate to moderately severe pain, and cough. This combination contains an opioid pain reliever, i.e., hydrocodone, and a non-opioid pain reliever, i.e., acetaminophen that belongs to the drug class narcotic analgesic combinations. It acts on the brain to relieve pain and prevent cough when you are struggling with severe pain. This drug has three strengths: 5-325 mg, 7.5-325 mg, and 10-325 mg. The form of Lortab 5-325 mg is a white capsule with the imprint “G 035” on one side of the capsule which is supplied by UCB, Inc. It is classified as a Schedule II drug so there is a risk of abuse and addiction. The starting dose is 1 or 2 capsules every 4 to 6 hours as needed, but do not exceed more than 8 capsules per day because taking more than 8 capsules can cause breathing problems and other side effects. Some side effects of Hydrocodone 5-325 mg, i.e., diarrhea, sweating, rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, constipation, vomiting, anxiety, depression, etc. may occur.
