Ativan 1 mg

Description

Ativan is an FDA-approved prescribed medication used to treat or relieve anxiety. The generic name of Ativan is Lorazepam and it belongs to a class of drugs known as benzodiazepines, which act on the brain and central nervous system to help control anxiety and stop seizures. It has two strengths: 1 mg and 2 mg. The form of Ativan 1mg is a white, round pill (imprinted MYLAN on one side and 457 on the other side of the tablet). Ativan 1mg is classified as a Schedule 4 controlled substance under the Controlled Substance Act (CSA) that carries a risk of abuse, misuse, and addiction which may lead to extreme depression, coma, or death. The Drug Identification number (DIN) of 00637742. The dose of Ativan may be different for each person to treat anxiety. Usually, the doctor prescribed a dose of 1-2mg at bedtime to treat insomnia due to anxiety. However, the daily dosage ranges from 1-10 mg. Ativan also affects physical functions and responses by slowing the activity of the brain and nerves. Common side effects of Ativan include dizziness, loss of coordination, drowsiness, weakness, fatigue, confusion, nausea, changes in appetite, weakness, and changes in libido.  It may cause symptoms of withdrawal, such as trouble sleeping, nausea, vomiting, or even seizures.
