Description
Opana ER 7.5 mg is a highly potent opioid analgesic indicated for the treatment of severe pain that belongs to the drug class Opioids (narcotic analgesics). It is categorized as a Schedule 2 controlled substance under the Controlled Substance Act (CSA). During pregnancy, risk cannot be ruled out. The gray round pill with the imprint “E” on one side and “7 ½” on the other side of the tablet has been identified as Opana ER 7.5 mg. The National Drug Code (NDC) of Opana ER 7.5 mg is 63481-0435 which is supplied by Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc. At first, you have to take a 10 mg to 20 mg dose every 4 to 6 hours per day and it will start to work after about 30 minutes and lasts about 12 hours for extended-release tablets. But, sometimes the dosage is based on your medical condition which means your doctor may increase or decrease (to 7.5mg) your dose as needed. Note that these doses are not for children. The side effects of Opana ER 7.5 mg are similar to other opioids with constipation, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, dry mouth, drowsiness, anxiety, backache, joint pain, weakness, abdominal cramps, insomnia, diarrhea, headache, etc.
