Norco 5-325 mg

Description

Norco 5-325 mg is a combination medication used to relieve moderate to severe pain in which the combination contains 5mg of hydrocodone bitartrate (opioid pain reliever) and 10 mg of acetaminophen (non-opioid pain reliever). It is supplied in tablet form for oral administration which belongs to the drug class narcotic analgesic. The Norco drug has three strengths: 5-325 mg, 7.5-325 mg, and 10-325 mg. The Norco 5-325 mg is supplied as a yellow capsule with the imprint “V” on one side and “36 01” on the other side of the capsule which is supplied by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals. It works in the brain or CNS to change how your body feels, or it gives instant relief. It has a risk of dependency, as it belongs to a Schedule II drug. Taking more than 8 capsules can cause breathing problems and other side effects so it is recommended to take the initial dose as 1 or 2 capsules every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Some side effects of Norco 5-325 mg, i.e., drowsiness, mental clouding, diarrhea, mood changes, severe dizziness, constipation, vomiting, anxiety, depression, etc. may occur.
