Description

Hydrocodone 10-660 mg is a combination medication used to relieve moderate to severe pain that contains a partially semi-synthetic opioid pain reliever (hydrocodone), i.e., partially man-made, and a non-opioid pain reliever (acetaminophen). Hydrocodone belongs to the group of medicines called narcotic analgesics, whereas Acetaminophen is used to relieve pain and reduce fever in patients. When hydrocodone is used for a long time, it may become habit-forming, causing mental or physical dependence but acetaminophen does not become habit-forming when taken for a long time. This product is available as an extended-release medication only, i.e., it is available in 10-325 mg, 10-500 mg, 10-650 mg, 10-660 mg, and 5-325 mg strengths. The white capsule with imprint M362 on one side of the capsule has been identified as Hydrocodone 10-660 mg which is supplied by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. Hydrocodone 10-660 mg works in the brain to change how your body feels and responds to pain when you are struggling with severe pain. The initial dose for an adult is 1 or 2 capsules every 4 to 6 hours as needed, but the dose is usually not more than 6 capsules per day because taking high doses can cause breathing problems and other side effects.
