Gabapentin 800 mg

Description

Gabapentin 300 mg is indicated for the treatment of partial seizures, nerve pain, and restless leg syndrome that belongs to the drug class Gama-aminobutyric acid analogs. It is from a group of medicines called anticonvulsants that work on the chemical messengers in the human brain and nerves. However, it is not a controlled drug so there is no risk of addiction. This drug is available in two forms, i.e., oral tablet and oral capsule which has different strengths: 100 mg, 300mg, 400 mg, 600 mg, 800 mg, 1200 mg, and 1600 mg. The white oval tablet with “O E” debossed with a deep break line on one side and “800” on the other opposite side has been identified as Gabapentin 800 mg which is supplied by Megalith Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Patients 12 years of age and above, take gabapentin tablets three times a day using 600 mg or 800 mg tablets but the maximum time between doses should not exceed 12 hours and can be taken orally with or without food. Some side effects of using this medicine may include vision problems, dizziness, drowsiness, vomiting, weakness, fever, body aches, tiredness, headache, swelling of your legs and feet, etc. While taking gabapentin 800 mg, you should avoid drinking alcohol because it could increase sleepiness or dizziness.
