Codeine 30 mg is a commonly prescribed medicine to treat anxiety and stress caused by severe pain which belongs to the natural opioid drug class derived from morphine. The initial adult dosage ranges from 15 to 60 mg up to every 4 hours as needed, whereas doses above 60 mg may fail to give commensurate pain relief, and may lead to undesirable side effects. After taking Codeine 30 mg, within a couple of minutes, it works in the brain to change how your body feels and responds to pain. It will stay for around 6-8 hours. Some side effects and symptoms of this medication are diarrhea, sweating, constipation, vomiting, breathing problems, confusion, anxiety or depression, slowed heart rate, etc. In addition, it may also cause sweating, lightheadedness, shortness of breath, etc.
